Imagine a future where sustainability isn’t just a buzzword, but a way of life. That’s the vision GREEN-HOUSE 2025 brought to life! From November 8th to 9th, the Temasek Shophouse in Singapore transformed into a hub of innovation and action for climate change. This festival brought together the city’s most forward-thinking individuals, showcasing how we can build a more sustainable future, one step at a time.
Across nine distinct zones, visitors immersed themselves in the possibilities of eco-conscious living. They explored sustainable home concepts, from mindful kitchens and reimagined wardrobes to hands-on maker spaces and zero-waste workshops. With over 80 brands participating and offering 40+ free activities, the event was packed with inspiration and practical solutions.
But this year’s edition went beyond just showcasing ideas; it made a tangible impact. 100% of the profits from GREEN-HOUSE’s exclusive merchandise line were donated to NParks’ 100K Corals Initiative, supporting vital reef restoration efforts in Singapore’s waters. Each item was thoughtfully crafted by skilled makers from the Metta Welfare Association, with co-curation from SG Enable and ARTDIS, demonstrating a commitment to both sustainability and inclusivity. This is a great example of how businesses can give back to the community.
Some of the highlights included Mercedes-Benz’s “Living Form, Lasting Purpose” installation, a life-sized G-Class constructed from an incredible 40,531 recycled plastic bottles, a powerful visual statement about the potential of repurposing materials. Teva’s City Trail Adventure at Fort Canning Park redefined outdoor exploration, encouraging festival-goers to see the world as their playground. And for those seeking comfort and nostalgia, Bibik Violet by Violet Oon Group offered a delightful fusion of classic Nyonya flavors with contemporary green living.
